Utility Bills Too High?

Our energy assistance program for income-eligible households in Cullman, Lawrence, Marion, Morgan, and Winston counties helps keep money in your pocket so you don’t have the stress of choosing between keeping the lights on or buying life-saving medicine.

Thanks to $1.7M in supplemental federal funding from the
American Rescue Plan (ARP), CAPNA will begin issuing $300 supplemental awards (less utility allowances for those living in subsidized housing) to ALL regular non-crisis awards for the time period 6/1/2021 thru 9/30/2022.  For those who received initial non-crisis awards between June 1st and August 31st, the supplemental amount will automatically be issued.  Providers will be notified and customers will receive a copy of the supplemental award.  No action is needed by the customer.  There is no need to submit an additional application.
